HAPPINESS LIES IN THE JOY OF ACHIEVEMENT

There is a reason why so many people that have everything handed to them a re so sad. I would love to see how many people that win the lottery end up being more miserable than before they won. Take some time and recall all the things your life that has made you happy, I would say that a high percentage are things that you did yourself. The harder you have to work the greater the joy that comes from it. Just today Dad and I built this awesome storage floor in my garage and it feels so good that we did it ourselves. Three months ago Dad, Mom, Jill and I built our fence and that was so exhilarating. I love it so much I think we're going to build our next house ourselves :). With every goal you accomplish there is always two pots of golds, the reward you reached and the joy that comes from it.

HAPPINESS LIES IN THE JOY OF ACHIEVEMENT

Happiness is a byproduct.
You cannot pursue it by itself.

You were built to conquer your environment,
solve problems, and achieve goals.
You'll find no real satisfaction or happiness in life
without obstacles to conquer and goals to achieve.

Happiness is in activity.
It's a running river not a stagnant pond.
Happiness is not in having or being,
it's in doing something you love.

The secret of happiness is in having something to do.
