Goals and Attraction

Making a goal and aiming for that goal are all about thinking about them and trying to accomplish them. When you break all that down what you are doing is always thinking and focusing on your end goal and by doing this you are attracting the things that can help you make that goal come true. When you watch or read the secret theories it all applies to the same system. If you think about something and really focus on making it true in your life then all the things around you are going to line up and help you reach that goal.

But because most people over estimate how much they can get done in a short period of time then they are setting themselves for failure. If you say you can do X in X amount of time then if you pass that time and you haven't completed your goal then you are going to be depressed and think negative about that goal. When you think negative about something then you push it away and make it impossible to accomplish it, until you get back on the positive track towards your goal again.

The lessons I took from this are:
1. Accomplishing goals is all about the law of attraction and focusing on what you want.
2. People need be more honest about how long it takes them to do something.
3. Never give up! Even if you run out time that doesn't mean you can't keep moving forward towards that goal you set out to do. Odds are you are inches away from making that goal a reality. NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!

This insight was given to me from a friend the other day after we did an awesome 10K run (my first one :). He also told me a great quote:
